How it's made
Our supplements are made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients, in GMP-certified facilities, and third-party lab tested. Our matcha comes from Kyoto, Japan. Here is what those words mean, and what we do on our side. Last updated: October 27, 2026.
Made in the USA with globally sourced ingredients, under GMP
- Every supplement we sell is made in a US facility that is independently audited and certified for Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), the quality rules the FDA sets for dietary supplements in 21 CFR Part 111.
- Under GMP, ingredients are identified before they are used, every batch is made to a written record, and finished product is checked before it is released.
Third-party lab tested
- Our products are tested by an independent lab, not only by the people who make them.
- Lab testing for supplements answers three questions: is it what the label says, is the amount right, and is it clean of contaminants such as heavy metals and microbes.
What we do on our side
- We review the quality documents for every product before we sell it.
- Every ingredient and every amount is on the label and on the product page, as text you can read and search.
- Every claim carries an evidence grade, Established, Growing or Frontier, with the key studies linked.
- If a formula, a dose or a count changes, we update the product page and note the change with its date.
Our matcha
Our ceremonial matcha is a pure tea, grown and stone-ground in Kyoto, Japan.
